Description

This is a multi-session introduction the basics of the Tony Wolf system over 2 evenings.

The Tony Wolf System is an integrated approach to skill-based training in martial arts, stage combat, physical theatre and self-defense.”

Since the 1990’s the Wolf System has been taught around the world. In performance combat training, this system stands out. It is a foundation for both realising individual talent and facilitating collaboration. The system is practical, technical, and profound. Training the actor in the skills-behind-the-skills it is empowering, liberating, and gives the actor agency.

It begins as a collection of games and rote activities in a simple progression which allows participants to explore the core elements of combat. These elements are essential for the fighting actor to make physically bold and versatile choices. At the same time you are developing virtuosity you take habitual control of the safe practices.

Tim Klotz presents the Wolf System uniquely. The intro of the system emphasises the core tools of the actor’s presence in a creative state. After the Wolf System activities are in your body, you have a semi-improvisational physical vocabulary and are ready to explore preparation and build ensemble ‘jams’ and scene scenarios.

Take this to level up your skills, or prepare for ID Scene Study. It’s a game change.
