Sword and shield is a weapon system that captures an audiences imagination when its performed well by actors. It's fast, brutal and loud. Sword and shield weapon combinations appear throughout history in many variations. Vikings, gladiators, medieval knights, highland warriors and many a sci-fi character are among those that have embraced this killer combination.
During the course students will learn the techniques required to perform an effective sword & shield fight and will have the opportunity at the end of the course to take the British Academy of Stage & Screen Combat Fight Performance Test. The course will also focus on acting skills and students will be expanding upon their knowledge of performing a dramatic fight scene with dialogue.

Excellent trainer and choreographer. Great and breaking things down bit by bit and making them easy enough for even the most novice person (like me) to understand. Ronin is very creative and understands all aspects of fight choreography including, safety, logic, and of course acting.
