Description

This course focuses on unarmed techniques for film fighting. Students will learn the basic foundations for good fight technique, performance and camera awareness.

The is a BASSC certificated course. The course will consist of one-to-one choreography, group work, theory, on set scenarios and culminate in a performance for camera assessment with a BASSC examiner.

Unlike other BASSC exams the assessment will not include scene work and will involve performing action for camera with more than one partner.

This course does not provide showreel, Our focus is on training and skill development.

Entry Requirement

This course is open to all.

No previous experience is required but we do recommend students may benefit from some basic theatrical unarmed experience beforehand to get the best experience. BASSC Unarmed or BADC Foundation both provide a great introduction to unarmed fighting and would be a good starting place for those new to theatrical unarmed.
