BADC Int / Adv UNARMED (Sep 29th - Oct 3rd)

YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED YOUR BADC STANDARD TO JOIN THIS COURSE

Equivalent dramatic combat training/certification (BASSC, SAFD, APC, etc) is accepted but must include Unarmed and Rapier & Dagger and you must get confirmation of your acceptance from the BADC no later than two weeks in advance. In BADC Further Weapon training and examinations you apply the knowledge and skills from the standard, engaging with colleagues at a new level to achieve a deft integration of safe practice, acting, and technique. 

Int / Adv weapons will be examined at a higher level than STANDARD  and requirements for achieving a PASS, MERIT or DISTINCTION much stricter.

Please note students do not often achieve distinctions right away after progressing from the STANDARD qualification to levelling up to further weapons exams. 

Should a student gain two Distinctions in any two further weapons qualifications they would be considered an Intermediate fighter and once the gain four Distinctions, they'll be recognised by the Academy as an Advanced fighter

Individual BADC further weapons qualifications are valid for four years.
